Its earlieast name was "Sayurj Public School and College Chitral" and now its name is changed to " The Langland's school and college chitral" on the houners of its principal Geoffrey Douglas Langland.
its is a famous institute in chitral and also a good one.
It has a student body of about a thousand; about a third of that number being girls.
