SRSP CDLD District Shangla 2.44

The Government of KP launched the CDLD policy to improve the quality public services delivery by involving local community in prioritizing their needs/problems and mitigated their developmental needs and developed strong coordination with community representatives and District Line Departments. The funding as budgetary support up to the tune of Euros 64 million has been provided by the European Union to the KP Government for execution of the CDLD policy. The CDLD policy implemented in 6 districts of Malakand Division excluded Buner. Social Mobilization (SM) process carried out by SRSP District Shangla team with the selected communities and formed inclusive and democratic community based organizations as per criteria of the CDLD policy. Deputy Commissioner and his team has overall responsibility of approving, implementing , monitoring and coordinating of community based infrastructures projects in partnership with Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
