Society for Academia Industry Collaboration Bahria University 1.96

One of the primary flaws of our education system today is the huge gap between the school and real life. Our universities are producing products (students) that are not fit for the industry. As a result, our students struggle to find a place in the industry even after graduating with high GPAs. In order to address this issue Bahria University invited distinguished people from the industry as well as the academia who are experts of their respective fields and made efforts to find solutions to this problem. As a result of these efforts, the Society of Academia Industry Collaboration was found.
SAIC's goal is twofold:
a) To establish strong linkages between the students of BU and the industry, so that the industry can guide the university and the students according to their requirements, mentor them towards successful career paths and provide them with effective internships and jobs.
b) To focus on the development of the students so that they may have the skills that are required by the industry.
The Student Body always plays a vital role in such activities. The students involved in the initiative will be in a great position to directly interact with the Industry and its professionals, expanding their exposure, network and career opportunities.
