The historical struggle of peasants, farmers and land growers of KAKOL WAAH (situated @Mehar /Dadu /Sindh) against land grabbers and QABZA MAFIA is going on continuously since last six months. Agitators , farmers ,peasants and land growers are looking for the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan ,Honorable High Court Sindh , Chairman NAB , D G Rangers ,Institutions of Anti-Corruption and Law Enforcing agencies ,that when they come forward for their rescue and stop genocide and lawlessness .They also are looking towards the intellectuals , scholars , social activists , political parties working under the banners of farmers ,peasants ,land growers (Abadgars) and poor people so also are looking for humanists ,feminists and liberals to play their role in raising their voice at every forum .
The illegal encroachment of LAND MAFIA on both banks of KAKOL WAAH (canal) is outcome of Mega Corruption and lawlessness headed by the elected representatives of the locality viz MNA & MPAs being in league with the Irrigation Authorities .Revenue Officials and Municipal Administrators.
Due to such illegal encroachment on KAKOL WAAH villagers of 90 villages have been pushed in stone age as 40000 Acres irrigation land of these poor people has become barren and deserted .Thousands of villagers of 90 villages and 4 Union Councils are not only deprived of irrigation water but also are deprived of water for drinking consequently they are compelled to drink poisonous water which has caused health problem also .Hundreds of the people have been patients of Hepatitis B&C due to drinking poisonous under surface water .The death toll of cattle has also increased and non-supply of canal water has cause huge problem for livestock too.
This all shows how much lawlessness is encouraged here and has become order of the day .Having agitation for half of the year for seeking justice, the poor people are asking how much more time is needed to shake the conscience of our society, Government institutions and advanced persons of our country & province who can play positive role to stop this genocide going on ahead of their very face!!!??
