Sangni Qila 4.13

Sangni Fort is a magnificent structure built during Dogra Raj.Today it is known as Sanghni Qila.The most famous thing about this fort is the story of clash between the Muslim Sufi Saint 'Shah Abdul Hakeem Badhshah" and the Dogra rulers of earlier 19th Century who built this fort.Dogras used this fort as a watch tower for more than 50 years then this was abandoned.Later on Body of Sufi Saint reburied here.Today this fort is a Shrine and people used to visit this historical place not as a fort but as a shrine.
