Rehmat welfare Society 2.23

Rehmat Welfare Society® is located in a small village called Ibben Wali Khlan, Tehsil Wazirabad District Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Punjab is the most populous provinces of Pakistan. Over 3.8 million illiterate people currently reside in Punjab. This means that millions of people over the age of 15 cannot read or write in any language especially in rural areas.

Our NGO’s main goal is to reach out to rural areas where people are very poor and lack of resources. That mean they cannot provide proper medication and education to their children. We are determined to encourage and assist them so that they could be able to provide their children proper education and medical facilities. There is large majority of people in the rural areas who are suffering and facing great difficulties especially transportation, clean water, education and medication due to long distance from the main cities.

Rehmat Welfare Society® has a great compassion for the poor children, special children and orphans. We are aiming to provide them education, medication and shelter. Let me remind and inform you that they are millions of children who are lack of proper education and medical facilities in the rural areas as their poor parent cannot afford their expenses. These parents are dreamed and wished to provide their children good education and proper medication but they cannot do so due to lack of resources.

We are aware of this truth that without proper education our children cannot have brighter future. So we need to focus on them and provide them better education and proper medication. If they are healthy and are in good shape then they can learn more easily. As we know that children are our most precious national inheritance and future hope. Moreover, we would like to eliminate child labour in Pakistan and make it possible for the poor children to go to schools and have proper education so that they can be well part of our society with wonderful and bright future.

Rehmat Welfare Society® has already started a school for the poor children in our village. We often help the poor families and the widows as well nearby villages. All of our members are working voluntarily at this moment.

Rehmat Welfare Society® has great concern for the women who are facing so many challenges and problems like education and medical facilities especially lack of maternity centres in the rural areas which causes so many deaths. One in every 170 women in Pakistan has the life time risk of maternal death.

We are hoping to build maternity centres or mother care centres for the pregnant women. These centres would provide them proper check up and child deliverance facilities.
