Aims and Objectives:

- To promote the understanding of mental health

- To provide a center for information, education and promotion in the field of mental health

- To provide a meeting ground for those interested in mental health

- To inspire and further research in the cause and prevention of mental, neurological and psychosocial disorders

- To work for the development of adequate facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of mental, neurological and psychosocial disorders

- To advise Government and other interested organizatons in the field of mental health

- To acquire moveable and immoveable properties by purchase, lease, exchange, hire, gift, or otherwise and any rights and privileges whatsoever to build, construct, alter, maintain buildings or other structures for the Association or its staff, as may be deemed necessary or convenient for any of the objects and purposes of the association
