LAPS 4.53

LAPS, on behalf of the LUMS Photographic Society provides all the aspiring and passionate young photographers of Pakistan with an opportunity to network, interact and learn from not only among themselves but also from us and other great names in the field of photography, through workshops and seminars, photography based competitions and social events. A breakdown of the event is as follows.

Events:
1. Product Photography Competition
2. Silhouette Photography
3. Macro Photography
4. Theme based Photo Shoot
5. Event Photography Competition
6. Photo Scavenger Hunt

Workshops:

The event would also consist of workshops by some of the most successful professional photographers in Pakistan in order to provide our delegates a much broader knowledge. They will start from the very basics of photography and go on to elaborate complex techniques like light painting and post-processing.

Social Events:

i. Exhibition
An exhibition will be held on the first day of the event showcasing one of the finest works by local photographers. It will also serve as the stage for inspiration for delegates giving them an insight of professional photography.

ii. Concert
A concert would be arranged for our delegates. It would also serve as the stage for Event Photography Competition.

iii. Thematic Dinner
A dinner with an exhibition will be held. Exhibition will not only consist of best works from competitions during the event but also have pictures from our members and other famous photographers. All results will be announced at the closing ceremony, and the team with the maximum points will win. A prize or award will be conferred.
