Iqra National University is recognized by HEC (Higher Education Commission), authorized by PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) and chartered by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

University, for its repute, faculty, and unique academic curriculum, attracts a large number of students every year, although it offers admission to a measured number of students from all regions of the country.

The university currently enrolls 4,000 students in different disciplines with 10,000 alumni. And has a standing reputation among the people of Peshawar.
