Name of Organization

1. The structure shall be known as Human Welfare Organization, here in referred as the HWO. It was established in 2003 as NGO on non political and non sectarian basis.

2. It is registered with the Government of Pakistan under Voluntary Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961 since June 5th, 2003.

3. Aim and Mission

3.1 Our paradigm is Knowledge, Faith and Participation to build a society of Harmony, Justice, Peace and Opportunities, where every ordinary individual can develop his natural endowments. Knowledge increases spectrum of opportunities for an individual, besides enlightenment in his faith and purpose of life.
3.2 To become a vibrant catalyst for quality education and awareness raising through support to private and non government sectors by mobilizing sufficient resources as an effective self sustaining organization.

3.3 To improve access to basic Human indicators for rural communities of remote areas through community empowerment to ensure accountability, ownership and sustainability of the program at the grassroots.
4. Objectives
4.1 Protection of Human Rights individually and collectively.
4.2 To struggle against the sectarian terrorism and religious discrimination in the world.
4.2 To work for rehabilitation of the affected persons and their families from Flood, Earthquake, Accidentally Died etc.
4.3 To eradicate all kinds of social and societal evils like Gambling, Narcotics etc and to rehabilitate the persons affected from narcotics.
4.4 To provide welfare aids for mentally and physically retorted persons, welfare of widows, orphans, needy and helpless persons.
4.5 To eliminate illiteracy and liberty of forcible labour of children and educate them.
4.6 To provide legal aid and justice to the imprisoned helpless persons and to the persons who trapped in bogus cases by police etc.
4.7 To take measures for better health and cleanliness in society and environment.
4.8 To plan a solid strife for the protection of women rights and to give them respectful place in the society
4.9 To work for the adornment of sacred places in the world.
4.10 To provide proper health care and free treatment to poor deserving patients and to establish Free Dispensaries, Hospitals, Ambulance Service, Blood Banks and Vocational Training Institute etc for helpless, poor, deserving persons and To provide First Aid at accidental places.
4.11 To provide free books and scholarship to the deserving but shining students.
4.12 To set up Old Aged Benefit Houses for helpless old aged persons.
4.13 To co-ordinate among other Social Welfare Organizations.
4.14 To set up Industrial Home Societies for the welfare of skilled persons.
5. Area of Work. The area of operation shall be both Rural & Urban.

6. Salient Features

Following import features will be kept in view to run the business of the organization:-

6.1. Decisions taken at HWO are binding to all affiliated societies.

6.2 All books of accounts are open for everyone who wants to check these.

6.3 Equality amongst all organizations represented in HWO.

6.4 Respect the integrity and autonomy of all organizations participating in HWO.

6.5 Inclusivity of organizations who may wish to make relevant and positive contribution to the development of Pakistan.

6.6. Freedom of all participating organizations and stake holders to voice their views without fear intimidation or retribution inside HWO except when the rights of others are clearly violated should strive to arrive at decisions through consensus;

6.7. Respect and unequivocally defend the decision of HWO in public.

6.7. Openness and public accountability to affiliates of Pakistan regarding processes unfolding within HWO.

1. HWO participates in the meetings of Law and Enforcement Departments as well as District Administration and Line Departments.
2. HWO has been holding seminars, rallies against terrorism and sectarian.
3. HWO has facilitated LRBT Eye Camp at Family Hospital Mandi Bahauddin.
Total beneficiaries were 279.
4. During the current year, 35 students were provided with free Note Books/School Bags etc.
5. In this year HWO has provided free medicines to the 10 deserving persons.
6. HWO provided free Legal Aid/Guidelines to 12 deserving females.
7. HWO has been active member of CAC a forum of Aurat Foundation for strengthening and development of Women and Democracy.
8. Muhammad Akram Tarar, President Human Welfare Organization has remained employee of SPO as ACC at DGP Project of FAFEN from March 2010 to January 2012 in district Mandi Bahauddin.
9. Muhammad Akram Tarar, President Human Welfare Organization has worked as CLTO at FAFEN’s Project of Observation of General Election-2013 from March 2013 to June 2013 in district Mandi Bahauddin.
10. Muhammad Akram Tarar, President Human Welfare Organization has been acting as Conveyer of DGG (District Governing Group) a district level forum of FAFEN’s Project STAEP since November 2013 in Mandi Bahauddin.
11. Muhammad Akram Tarar, President Human Welfare Organization is also a member of Aawaz and Accountability Project of UKAID being run by Aurat Foundation in Mandi Bahauddin.
12. HWO has worked as Co-Implementing Partner in the Project Training of Polling Personnel for GE-2013 of UNDP/ECP.

CURRENT

1. HWO has started a programme “TRAINING OF LIFE SKILS”. About 110 Teachers and 750 Students of different schools have participated in this Training Programme.
2. HWO is enjoying as Implementing Partner of AAWAZ Voice and Accountability Programme a Project of UKAID being run by Aurat Foundation in district Mandi Bahauddin.
3. HWO has started a English Development Programme at different schools for Teacher/Students in collaboration with SEED (Society for English Enrichment & Development). About 200 Teachers/Students have got benefit of this programme.
