NTERDUCTION OF GOVT MANAGEMENT SCIENCE Abbottbad City The most beautiful city of N.W.F.P is named is after it’s founder Maj. Abbott who , gifted with Wordsworthian love of nature , picked this side foe this site for the headquarter of the district . Besides science beauty and health-conductive environment, the city is presently known for it’s numerous educational institutions of repute, which have earned it, and rightly so, the name “City of Schools and Colleges . The city now extends from Salhad , in the south, to Abbottabad Public School over a distance of about 10 kilometers, the old city being is close proximity to the southern out skirt i.e salhad. Mandain ,Mirpure which one was nothing more than an unimportant peripheral area of Abbotttabad , has quickly developed into the hub of the city with rapid expansion Northward, more so educationally , for over a dozen insinuations, including Ayube Medical College, are clustered in this area, forming and aduationa; complex. Almost in the center of this cluster, of Mansehra road , on the way to PMA Kakul, This College of Management Science is situated. The College is working under the Directorate Of Technical Education and Man Power Training, Ministry of industries NWFP.old. Commerce Business Education It is highly globally recognized discipline. In Pakistan, it is an essential part of technical Education The government of NWFP (old) has set up at least one College of Management Science at every district headquarter. These college are affiliated to respective universities for degree and Post Graduate level courses i.e. B.com B.BA & M.com and MBA also MS and NWFP board of Technical Education Peshawar for intermediate level courses i.e D.com D.B.A , D.I.T Initially, the college started a functioning as Government Commercial Training Institute, Abbottabad ina rented building in 1964. It was located at the then door steps of Abbottabad city on Havelian road . The Directorate of Technical Education Lahore controlled it. The institute was awarding Certificate Commerce and diploma in Commerce from Punjab Board of Technical Education. Some events of this college are described below 1975 The college was upgraded to Degree level as Gove college of Commerce Abbottabad and was affiliated with University of Peshawar. 1976 The College was shifted from rented building in city to it’s present campus, spreading over 84 canals of land in the heart of posh area Jinnah Abad Colony . 1978 B.com (Hon’s classes were started. 2003-04 The College Of Management Sciences Abbottabad was Permitted to start M.com classes. 2005 The college took a big leap forward and got permission by the Hazara University to start BBA classes.
