Details

Kanganpur is an important, historic and beautiful place.
It is 117 KMs far from Lahore, 67 KMs far from its District Headquarters i.e. Kasur and 40 KMs far from Wordly known forest Chhanga Manga. Population is approx 45000.
It is frontier town adjoining with Indian city Ferozepur from east, Okara and Sheikhupura from west.
It touches the boundary of District Nankana Sahib.
This town is named on the Sadpal's daughter whose name was KANGANA.
It was the time when the great warrior Muhammad bin Qasim invaded Multan.
At that time, Multan was the capital of Sadpal's kingdom.
Afterward KANGANA accepted Islam, now her grave is in Burewala Districtrict Vehari - Pakistan.
Now that Kanganpur is found on a hillock, consists on four palace.
Kales, Mughal, Rathhoar and Dhudi were lived here.
Rathhoar never change their faith, departed from Kanganpur and has gone to India. Rest of them convert to Islam.
But four palaces still called by their names.
