Dr. Rahat Ullah Khattak is a United Kingdom trained Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon who owns and manages Khattak Clinic in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Khattak Clinic specializes in dermatology, cosmetic surgeries and the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. It is a well established clinic with practice experience spanning over the last 35 years.

Dr. Rahat Ullah Khattak graduated with a M.B.B.S from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. For Post-Graduation he went abroad to the United Kingdom.

He then joined the National Health Service (NHS) there and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in England as well as Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians.

Following on from that he then joined the University of Cardiff, South Wales and became the Diplomate in Dermatological Sciences and specialized in sexually transmitted diseases from the University of Liverpool.

Dr. Rahat Ullah Khattak was posted in the Skin Department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (General and Teaching) in Sheffield, England, United Kingdom.

He spent five years in the Dermatology Department where he learnt the skills of dealing with dermatological diseases and its treatment and learnt the art of Cosmetic Surgeries. Here he was actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students of the university.

In order to know about the infrastructure of the health system in the United Kingdom, he joined the General practice where he spent a good few years and became principal in general practice and was admitted as a member of the Royal College.

He then returned to his home country Pakistan, and started a solo private practice of skin specialty in Blue Area, Islamabad.

He has also been a Senior Consultant Dermatologist in Maroof International Hospital and Ali Medical Center in Islamabad.

Dr. Rahat Ullah Khattak has also conducted teaching presentations in these hospitals and one such presentation was in Maroof International Hospital on “Skin in Focus – Psoriasis".

In addition he has also organized and ran a “Pigmented Skin Lesion” Clinic in the British High Commission in Islamabad and has an appointment as a Medical Consultant to the Embassy of the United States of America in Islamabad, Pakistan.
