Welcome to Divisional Public School Lahore where high academic standards are achieved, where boys and girls gain a sense of achievement and self-respect by taking part in a variety of activities and where the will to win is encouraged but the manner of winning is a matter of honor. DPS is first and foremost involved in producing "Gentleman" in every sense of this weighty word.Considerable attention is given to the moral, intellectual, physical,emotional and social development of the boy and girls. Qualities of enthusiasm,initiative, high standards of morality, considerate behavior and discipline are emphasized. Individual effort is rewarded and teamwork is developed throughout the School. Independence and interdependence are valued norms. Good order and just discipline are norms that are the basis of the Publicans community. The aim of discipline at DPS is to encourage the development of self-discipline amongst each individual boy and girls. Boys and Girls are expected at all times to behave courteously, honestly and sensibly. DPS aims at a broad view of the curriculum. It does not regard its main purpose only to examine, grade or certificate its boys and girls on some approved external syllabi. The aim of the curriculum is to not only act within the spirit of the syllabi laid down by the relevant public examination and other authorities, but to offer more to the boys and girls, taking full advantage of the independent nature of the School. Boys and girls take advantage of this broad based curriculum in activities like debating, where they have represented Publicans and Pakistan at the world level many times. Taking advantage of its 100-acre campus, DPS is well equipped with all the major kinds of sports activities where International teams come to practice also. Compulsory participation in games has been a strong tradition. The physical development and good health of boys are part of good schooling. Games are supervised and there are regular opportunities to play formal matches within and outside the school. In all spheres of life at Divisional Public School, everyone adheres to the school motto.

The objective of the School is to Provide advances education of top most quality to the children of the area with a view to impart broad based education, conscious of the demands of the new millennium, which shall be more in the form of science and technology. The school will have the latest teaching and learning facilities of science and computer laboratories. The School stands in its own estate of over 186 acres in the heart of present-day Lahore. Its grounds and buildings are some of the best known architectural set pieces of the town. It has four blocks, one mosque, Principals Residence, tuck shop and a Joy Land for the little angels. The School Building is well equipped with all necessary requirements as Computer Lab, Language Lab, Library, Class Rooms, Offices etc. The School is run under a Management Committee which is offering its best possible efforts for the best luck of the School objectives.
