HISTORY:

You are surrounded by DASTAN (stories) every day. From the stories portrayed in painting or in news on television, radio, and in the newspaper, business success or failure, stressful life, social issues, religious books, lessons at school or sung in a song, Pictures, Movies, Comedians making up their routines in story, to the bedtime stories told to young children read out by mothers; as long as there have been people, there have been stories.

Some Dastan’s have lasted hundreds and even thousands of years and are still being told. Dastan began with the oral tradition, meaning they were passed on by being heard and retold. Later, people began to write the Dastan down, but we still love to hear Dastan (stories) told out loud.

DASTAN’s are powerful. They can teach morals, values, history. They can entertain us. They can make us think about things in ways we’ve never thought of them before. They can make us laugh. They can make us cry. DASTAN Goi is a large part of what makes people connected to each other.


DESCRIPTION:

Established in the year 2016, DASTAN is Event Management Initiative, where we work to redefine tradition, promote arts and culture and enlighten the masses in Pakistan. DASTAN is committed to work on awareness, promotion and preservation of intangible cultural heritage.

DASTAN is defined by its highly creative and delicate approach and has produced high-end occasion so far. End to end solutions are provided to all categories of events whether it be corporate or social.

WHAT WE OFFER.

We help organize Sufi Mehfils, musical evenings and events, help promote literature, paintings through exhibitions and storytelling sessions, documentaries and other forms. This is how we can help our clients explore and represent their brand and identity.

We organize corporate events that are creatively conceived, strategically planned and perfectly executed. Our corporate events portfolio includes training's, public and private workshops, seminars, product launch ceremonies, team building events, award ceremonies, high level meetings, client and sponsor dinners.

We also work within communities across Pakistan to address social issues including but not limited to poverty, education, health, environment, gender related.
