The Department of Computer Science is catering for the higher educational needs for the students of interior Sindh and imparting technical education of Computer Science.

The department is offering both the Bachelor and Masters Degree programs in the field of computer science and information technology. The new discipline of Information Technology (IT) has also been added at both Bachelor and Master levels. Modern methods of teaching aids are made available to the teaching faculty, so that they can transfer their knowledge to the students in the class-rooms and labs, explicitly. The department also arranges seminars and extension lectures in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, to keep the students abreast of the recent and current trends and issues of the technology.

The curriculum of BS (CS) and BS (IT) include the market requirements. It is prayed that the students of Computer Science succeed in facing the challenges of the professional life, after having graduated from this University. This prospectus provides important guide lines to the aspirant applicants regarding the procedure of the education, fees structures, and courses of the various programs. It also provides a glimpse of the way S.A.L.U campus lives and works for the betterment of the society.
