Good old Clifton is not only a superb value hotel, but it also has a good restaurant on ground floor level – accessible from the street and open to non-guests.
Being centrally located at the backside of the big block facing the railway city station at the front side, the restaurant makes a very good stop-over, when arriving from any part of the country or even the border, while on the way back there or while waiting for an onward train connection. There are even some taxis which can be hired for a ride, outside the Clifton, for most of the time.
The restaurant is pleasantly clean, with white table cloth and the waiters wearing white jackets. The waiter’s manners in fact distinguish them from most of their colleagues in the country, in a positive way.
Pricing is very moderate, with Pakistani main dishes being available – even a veg. variety of mixed vegetables. Breakfast sees either the Pakistani variety or eggs in any form, toast, tea, coffee.
The rooms in the hotel and clean and was wide and breathtaking with air condition and TV and 24/7 service. The rooms are well furnished and are secure.
The hotel have a Parking lot for the cars of the customers on ground floor and in basement.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Lahore with historical places like Badshahi Masjid and Minar e Pakistan at a couple of kilometers.
