AL-Shams Charity Trust is working as a development trust which seeks to help people develop their full potential and lead productive lives. This ACT works without any discrimination of caste, color, religion & creed. ACT aims are to bring the whole community & people from all walks of life under an umbrella for their betterment and uplifting. ACT try to create opportunities for the people to develop self reliance and to make them a useful member of the society. being the top priority of the ACT, the welfare activities are carried out to reach every deserving person. We aim at providing relief to the indigent humanity and to every destitute person who requires a helping hand. ACT aims to provide financial/ medical/ educational/ general aid and relief.

AL-Shams Charity Trust was started by a group of volunteers who wanted to bring a change in the lives of the poor and impoverished by bringing health and education to their doorsteps. ACT has grown from a band of street volunteers to a huge national network of schools and hospitals. Education and Development community are priority areas of ACT. Allah help ACT will go where others have not dared. We are but just a drop in the ocean, but we will strive to change the lives of the people we touch. We believe that education and development community are the two most powerful tools of development, and we try to make these available to as many as possible. Our strength is drawn from the support of ordinary people. Ordinary people, when united, can do extra-ordinary things. We combat sectarianism and discrimination against people because of caste, colour, health status or sexuality. This is the illustration for why our volunteer workers are ready all the times for all people whatsoever the spots without any detachment and without any necessity of normal benefit. Our fundamental quality is infringing number of strong, beneficent workers and at the top we acknowledge huge measure of trust of our providers and beneficiaries
