Valenzuela Christian School (VCS, formerly Valenzuela Community School) was formed in 1965 by its founders and first teachers, Bishop Rolando & Mrs. Bernie Bacani, as a missions outreach of the First Church of God (founded 1959). From its humble beginnings in PreSchool, their vision to expand into the Primary and Secondary Education was realized. Forty nine years later and still counting, we continue the legacy and renewed vision to be an excellent Christian school ministry characterized by innovative practices, well-rounded programs, and appropriate facilities. We consider every child a gift from God, with special talents and abilities to be nurtured and cultivated. Today, VCS continues to thrive in its efforts to meet the needs of students and families who had dreamed of a school that integrated rigorous academics, developing music and arts, champion athletics, mission and service, a Biblical faith and Christian values – all in a nurturing, family environment.

Valenzuela Christian School is a non-denominational, Christ-centered school that welcomes students of all faiths to experience the depth and breadth of a quality Christian education. Thank you for the privilege and honor to partner with you, along with local churches and community partners in developing each child spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically. We are proud of our numerous graduates who are serving in various capacities successfully, and those who have achieved outstanding leadership in diverse professions and industries, domestically and globally.
