More than 40 years ago, in Binondo, Manila, the heartland of Philippine entrepreneurship, where so many success stories saw their beginning, is where a small company named LBT Trading began selling cosmetics and school supplies on the busy streets of the metropolitan capital. Ran by a family of 8 working tirelessly day in and day out they slowly developed their bustling family business, growing it through sheer determination and passion, shaping it into Ultra Mega Multi-Sales, the staple of the local wholesale and retail FMCG landscape, as we know it today.



In 1996, To meet with the rapid growth Ultra Mega has cultivated through the years they expanded to a brand new 1.5 hectare space in Muntinlupa City signifying their, at the time, largest distribution center to meet the needs of their ever growing consumer base as well embarking into their first step into the retail space with the very first Ultra Mega supermarket.


The years to follow were no different as Ultra Mega continued to innovate in the industry expanding to eight locations by the early 2000s from Baliuag, Bulacan to Antipolo City (now present in more than 20 retail spaces) becoming the pinnacle for the low-cost retail experience and the top choice for wholesale needs that power thousands of local enterprises empowering local entrepreneurs to grow their businesses like never before, through the commitment of Ultra Mega’s hardworking, passionate and consumer-centric staff that focuses on providing the very best quality products and unparalleled service to meet the demands of the Filipino people and to cultivate the growth of the Philippine retail economy.
