UCCP Paaralang Pag-asa 3.72

The UCCP Paaralang Pag-asa, Inc. was opened in the 1920's as an extension program of the Sunday School of Davao City Evangelical Church of Mrs. Susana Diamonon de Vera, a christian worker. The missionaries there were Rev. & Mrs. Julius S. Augur. They were pioneers in pre-school education and therefore were first to open Kindergarten school in Davao City.

The Requests of parents for continuous quality Christian Education and through the efforts of the Executive Pastor, Rev. Palpito D. Dumanig, supported by the Paaralang Pag-asa Committee and approved by the Church Council paved the way to the reactivation of Grade 1 in 1993, Grade 2 was opened in 1994, Grade 3 in 1995, Grade 4 in 1996, Grade 5 in 1997 and Grade 6 in 1998, with 29 pupils among the pioneering graduates.
