Details

The Transfiguration of Christ Parish is one of the 64 parishes under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Diocese of Antipolo. It was canonically erected by the Most Rev. Jesse Mercado, D.D., then Apostolic Administratior of the Diocese, on December 12, 2002. The first parish priest was Msgr. Pedro Canonero. The present parish priest is Fr. Joel Francis Victorino who replaced Fr. Paquito Gallego. Other priests who served the parish as parochial vicars were Fr. Jun Mejia, Fr. Gerardo Sanchez and Fr. Jose Rock Berdos.

The territorial jurisdiction of the parish is composed of a large part of Antipolo City (Brgy. Dalig and Brgy. San Roque) and portions of Angono, Teresa and Binangonan. However, for pastoral reasons, a new parish will be erected on April 27, 2014 that will be called St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Brgy. Mahabang Parang in Angono and some areas from Teresa and Binangonan will form this new community under the Order of the Servants of Mary.

This page hopes to help parishioners be updated of the news and events being done in the parish. It also hopes to inspire and challenge people to become better witnesses to the Catholic faith through the postings done in the page. Inquiries about various programs and activities can also be done through this page. The official administrator of this page is the Transfiguration of Christ Paris.
