Brief History
Date Organized: August 25, 1986
The Foundation was organized in 1986 by a group of 13 volunteers committed to help the government rebuild the country from the dark days of Marcos dictatorship. The creation of TOUCH was the collective response of the founders to support the success of EDSA. The foundation was the expression of commitment to develop families and communities into self-reliant and self-sufficient villages. It was later registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on the following month. After twenty seven (27) years, the Foundation has gained experience in developing tools and multiplied its partnerships and coverage in Mindanao in the field of environmental conservation and agricultural development, gender and development and health.
