The Bistro Group began operations in 1994 with the opening of TGI Friday’s , the very first American casual dining chain in the Philippines.

In 1996, opened the first Italianni’s branch outside the US. TGI Friday’s, Glorietta in Makati City reaped international accolades that include the Highest Guest Count for four consecutive years (1995-1998), beating 500 TGI Fridays around the world. A recognition it was to win again in 2011.

Today, Bistro operates 13 TGI Friday’s restaurants, 15 Italianni’s, 4 Fish & Co., 3 Flapjacks, 1 Pig Out!, 2 Krazy Garlik, 1 The Stock Market, 4 Bulgogi Brothers, 1 Ma Maison, Village Tavern and soon, 2 Watami and 2 Modern Shanghai. By the end of 2012, The Bistro Group will be operating 50 restaurants nationwide.
