8. Since most of our clients (your new bosses) are Australian and New Zealand businesses, this means its usually a 5 day working week Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day.

Pull it apart, put it back together. Set it up from scratch, get it all wrong, and then learn by fixing it. This is an important part of learning in the IT industry. The best engineers are those that love to know how something works, so they break it and fix it.
