The UPLIFT Community Development Foundation
is a non-profit, non-sectarian entity. It's established in 1998 by Adelina San Miguel and a handful of very supportive friends.

The residents of Tahanang Balik-Alay will be provided care and supervision in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), inclusive of eating/feeding, grooming, mobility, toileting and dressing; also Individualized Service Plan (ISP) for each physical, emotional, medical and social needs.

--- to quote Ms. San Miguel,
"If I can help somebody as I pass along in my journey..",
subsequently became the Foundation slogan.

The Foundation also sponsored tennis clinics in Elementary & High Schools in Taytay from 1997-2000.
Among the youths who participated, 7 lawn tennis varsity scholars of them are now varsity players & scholars of Polytechnic University of The Philippines and one in Japan.

Those youths planted the trees you now see at the Veteran's Memorial Park across the New Taytay Public Market by Manila East Road.

The foundation also holds seminars on
Zero Waste Management.

We do comprehensive screening and evaluation in the areas of medical conditions, emotional challenges, medication, utilization, cognitive abilities, nutritional well-being, sleep routine, physical status (strength, mobility, orientation), and special care requirements.
