The restaurant was created after realizing Filipino food deserved to be acknowledged and appreciated both locally and internationally. There is a stigma with the food as it is rather underestimated even among locals but we believe that there is more than meets the eye. We push ourselves to be influencers in the acknowledgment of the local cuisine even through little steps because we believe that the food’s charm is enough to change the minds of consumers.

We are inspired to serve as gateway for customers to experience the wonders of Filipino cuisine infused with the Cebuano way of cooking topped off with Sugbufe’s distinctive and signature style. Despite being met with diverse and complex flavours, we intend to highlight each of the dishes individually without making it clash with one another. The efforts to emphasize each dish yet still making sure that the flavours marry together will be a challenge but we believe that it will be possible through perseverance, passion and excellence. It is the commitment to promote love and appreciation in the local cuisine that will eventually transgress internationally which pushes us to confidently believe that all things impossible can be and will be possible.

We believe that celebrating culture is one way of uniting people from different generations, further creating camaraderie and reliving memories that are to create new ones.

Although we are new in the restaurant industry, we envision ourselves to be a top choice restaurant in Cebu committed to serve customers with integrity, loyalty and dedication. It is our mission to bring Filipino cuisine to new heights and further broaden the knowledge of people about the Philippines’ food, culture and heritage. We acknowledge that the future is far and full of uncertainties but we envisage ourselves to be recognized globally carrying with us the pride of the Philippines and the honour of being a Sugbuanon.


We are open from Mondays to Saturdays from 11 A.M. until 10 P.M.

Lunch Buffet is from 11 A.M - 2:00 P.M. with a standard rate of Php 348.00 per head.

Merienda Cena is from 2:30 - 5:00 P.M. with a standard rate of Php 210.00 per head.

Dinner Buffet is from 6:00 P.M - 10:00 P.M. with a standard rate of Php 449.00 per head.
