Persimmon is a fast food restaurant and bakery in CdeO. In 1992, it introduced the “baked siopao,” an innovation derived from the traditional steamed meat bun (siopao).

This invention made the store well-known and other bakeries have attempted to create their own version. Through word of mouth, the “baked siopao” is slowly becoming popular to tourists visiting the city.
