Pembo Elementary School 5.27

Pembo Elementary School was built in 1968, on Escarlata Street , Pembo, Makati City , wth a tota land area of 9,801.87 sq. meters. People used to call it a “ Baby School “ for it was the last and smallest school in Makati . The place where it is located now, was then a rice field that was later turned into an army reservation area. PES was firstly constructed with 2 ‘pre pab” buildings composed of only 6 teaching staff.

The school's recent population is 5,214, with a principal, 140 teachers, OMNI's and security guards assigned in shifting for school maintenance and protection.

population increase can be attributed to the influx of commercial establishments, local government support, an intelligent and kind-hearted administrator, competent teachers and a beautiful school as well.

A holistic pupil development is the most essential vision and mission in any educational institution; the reason why in PES , an empowered principal and her efficient teachers work GUNGHO to attain and concretize their goal. Planning, decision-making and implementation are shared responsibilities.
