March 10,1932 NCC formerly CNI was founded by Don Fructuoso Mansueto Fernan.For it was his long dream to give a high school education to the poor people of Bogo. Who could not afford to go to Cebu City to study.
School Year 1932-1933 only first year high school was offered.The following succeeding years it became a complete secondary course.
During World War II the school was closed.High school dreams were on hold students went back to their home towns.
1945, End of the war the school was reopened by Mr.Fernan and students came back to school to continue their dream of having a high school education.
1950 CNI became Northern Cebu Colleges and on the same year a college department was offered courses in Education,Liberal Arts and Clerical course.
1966 The school founder bought a property near the sea and thus became the new NCC Campus.
April 29, 1986 Don Fructuoso M. Fernan passed away, the presidency of the school was succeeded by his son Dr.Frankie Villamor Fernan.
1999 The just before the turn of the 21st century a milestone was achieved by the school.A new building was erected through the efforts of Dr.Fernan to accommodate the growing student population of the school.
In 2007,The school celebrated it's 75th Founding Anniversary it was a big celebration honoring the first 75 years of the school.
Nov.2, 2012 Dr.Frankie V.Fernan passed away the presidency was assumed by his elder sister Madam Luz Fernan-Mnacao.
2017 NCC became Northern Cebu Colleges, Incorporated/NCCI
