National Police College 4.33

The NPC was established pursuant to Section 66 of RA 6975 and fully operationalized on February 14, 1994. It is mandated to provide continuing education and career training needs of the police, fire and jail officers.

The NPC conducts mandatory Officers Training Courses designed to develop quality and excellence in management and leadership of the overall enhancement of public safety and the criminal justice system. The NPC is the counterpart of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), the Joint Command and General Staff College (JCSC) and the Training Command (TRACOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. While its main campus is at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, NPC maintains Satellite campuses in Camp Crame, Quezon City and the PPSC Regional Training Schools in the cities of Baguio, Cebu and Davao.

The NPC is committed to adhere to the PPSCs institutional philosophy of developing a "professionalized corps of public safety personnel, who are open and sensitive to people's needs, imbued with social moral values and firm respect for human rights and democratic processes and oriented to become the best and the brightest."
