Metropolitan Bible Baptist Ekklesia Baguio and Her missions 3.42

In June 1990, on the 9th anniversary of the La Trinidad Valley Baptist Church - Trinidad, the church congregation was formally separated from the La Trinidad church. Pastor Nolasco turned this work over to Pastor Gilbert Tenorio while he came over to Baguio to continue the Faith Congregation, which he personally pioneered. In July 16,1990,the very same day the killer quake wrecked havoc in the city,the FAITH Congregation was formally organized as a mission and renamed as Metropolitan Bible Baptist Mission Baguio.

Two years later, In May 28,1990, this mission was organized into church - the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church of Baguio (MBBC- Baguio) as it is known today.
The Church, with God continuous provision and grace,and under the leadership of the ever dynamic and visionary pastor, Pastor Serge, grew tremendously and made wonders: many people came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and were added to the Church,lives had been transformed,broken family relationships had been restored, the high school and college students whom Pastor Serge started the work with, graduated and became professionals, and most of all, the members grew and matured in their faith and love for God and His work.

In 1996, from a sacrificial giving of the members , the church purchased a 328 square meter lot of Camp7. In 1997, on the 7th anniversary, the Ist floor of the building was used as the venue. It was only in the year 2001 that the church finally gave up the rented P. Burgos building and fully transferred to the new Camp 7 building.

It was in the year 2004 when Pastor Gudi Dogaong,an electrical Engineer who surrendered himself for full time ministry since the year 1999, was appointed and installed as the resident Pastor at that time up to the Present.
