(An Introduction)

We recognize education as a potent tool of human being in reaching out his wild dreams in life. It must be the basis of reform in society. We all subscribe the idea that the door to the progress of our country lies in the education of our young. It is for the reason that the Merry Mount Preparatory School of Quezon City was conceptualized.

The Merry Mount Preparatory School of Quezon City came into existence in response to the call of the state in this campaign for quality education program. It aims to educate young children for their total and holistic development, molding them, nurture positive in life and eventually produce quality and competent graduates who will join the mainstream of quality leaders in nation building.

The Merry Mount Preparatory School of Quezon City started its operation on June, 1995 with eighty five enrollees for the Pre-school classes. Classes in Grade School subsequently followed the best served pupils from all walks of life. To date, the school exist with nursery, Kindergarten and Preparatory classes for the Pre-school level, Grades I to VI for Elementary level and Grades VII to X for Junior High School. The pupils have qualified teachers to help them academically and non-teaching staff who will provide assistance outside of academic discipline. the school best define its syllogism "Merry Mount Preparatory School Moving Onward to a Tradition of Excellence" its modest contribution to the attainment of finest quality education, a legacy that every parent of its recipients will always be proud of.


PHILOSOPHY

The overriding philosophy of the Merry Mount Preparatory School of Quezon City is anchored in the "Development of a Round Peg in a Round Hole", making the learner independent by helping himself so that he can help others.


VISION

The school envisions to produce graduates who are competent and well-adjusted individuals imbued with moral values and needed skills in his pursuit of higher education. Morally upright individuals with deep love and appreciation for nature, their fellow being and above all to God Almighty.
