The Medical Center Parañaque, Inc. is the largest tertiary level IV teaching and training hospital in the City of Parañaque. It is situated on a 7,627 square meter prime lot along Dr. A. Santos Ave., Sucat Parañaque. It offers a wide range of medical and health services such as Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal Medicine and other specialized services. MCPI is a private corporation with about 500 stock holders composed mostly of physicians who excel in their respective fields of specialization.

MCPI was founded by a group of enterprising physicians and businessmen in 1977. The inauguration of the hospital took place on November 12, 1978. It started with an authorized bed capacity of 50 beds and offered services such as Operating and Delivery Room, Diagnostic X-ray, Laboratory, Nursery, Dental Clinic, Pharmacy, ICU and ambulance services. On July 31, 1981, the Security Exchange Commission approved incorporation of the hospital.

As the years passed, the hospital steadily expanded with its authorized bed capacity increased to its present capacity of 95 beds. More hospital services were made available to meet the growing and ever-changing medical health needs of Parañaque. Hospital facilities were also constantly improved and upgraded to keep pace with the advancements in the hospital industry. On its 21st year, it has already achieved a status of being one of the more reputable hospitals in the City of Parañaque.

MCPI is staffed with doctors, skilled in their respective fields; AND competent nursing and paramedical staff, ready to give professional medical care. MCPI boasts of its latest equipments; Shimadzu X-Ray machine, CT-Scan 16 slices (Siemens), and Ultrasound departments: ATL 8000 CV-Digital computer sonography with Doppler (Medison Sonoace) for 2D-Echo department; Treadmill DMS - TM03 and 8 Fresenius Dialysis Machines for the Nephrology department.

This millennium, MCPI is at the forefront of major changes in the hospital and health care industry. It is preparing to meet new challenges of the Asean Regional Forum of Integration by 2015, by continuosly modifying and expanding its medical services while upholding its commitment to provide high quality health and medical services to the City of Parañaque and the other neighboring areas as well.
