HISTORY OF LUCSUHIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

June 1970, when the people of Alfonso, Cavite founded one of it's very first Barangay High School in Brgy. Luksuhin Ibaba, Alfonso, Cavite. It was first known as Lucsuhin Barangay High School, situated in the current location of Pansin Elementary School.

Lucsuhin Barangay High School was founded through the efforts of the three concerned civil servants namely: Mrs. Celeniana Mojica- then Pansin ES Principal; Mr. Honesto Alcazar- a Municipal Councilor then and Mr. Reynaldo Ronario- the PTA President of Pansin ES at that time. They thought of establishing the school to answer the need of the people for a more economical and accessible Public Secondary School in the community.

The then Lucsuhin Barangay High School was composed of two classroom lent by Pansin Elementary School with two teacher and Mrs. Celeniana Mojica who acted as Officer-in-Charge. Upon it's foundation they offered First Year and Second Year Secondary Education Program with 24 students then the following year they added the Third year and Fourth Year Program.

The Great Minds behind the foundation of LNHS didn't stop until they get to acquire the 3, 250 sq. m. lot adjacent to Pansin Elementary School, where the current Lucsuhin NHS is situated.

Since it's foundation , Lucsuhin NHS had been through different struggles but remain steadfast in the achievement of it's goal to give quality Public Secondary Education to our Filipino Youth. It's foundation and history continuously shows us that unity between the school, the community and the local government unit is very essential in the achievement of the institution's goal.

Today the former Barangay High School is more popularly known as Lucsuhin National High School with it's 16 classroom, a well-equipped Science Laboratory, a Food Technology Laboratory, a very spacious Library, two multi-awarded Computer Laboratories, a Reading Center, Clinic, Guidance Office and Principal's Office.

From two teacher when it was founded, teachers come and go. Currently, it is manned by 24 Strong Teaching Force and 4 Non- Teaching Personnel , serving 958 students.
