Laoag City Gymnastics Club
Welcome to the Laoag City Gymnastics Club of Shamrock Elementary School, Department of Education, Division of Laoag City. This is a sport club which is composed of DepED’s administrative staff, teachers, students, and private individuals who are geared in promoting and developing gymnastics. It caters the need of every registered member in the training programs and designs, actual training and competitions. This is a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the Department of Education, Division of Laoag City and within the jurisdiction of the Laoag City Sports Development Council.
This provides opportunities for students, faculty and staff to participate in a variety of gymnastics competition as well as other recreational and sport activities, thus broadening the scope of gymnastics in Laoag City.
The key to success of this Sport Clubs is student leadership, interest, involvement and participation. It is a recreational, instructional and at the same times a competitive club. Coaches and gymnasts are the primary target wherein they will be given technical knowledge in the coaching and technical aspects if the gymnastics competition. It also allows opportunities for leadership, decision-making and enhancing their competitive skills. This Sport Club is governed by the rules and regulations of the Department of Education.
This club is under the directive of the Secretary General as well as the officers of the club. Officers/members of this organization do not only entails active employee and students of the Department of Education, Division of Laoag City but alumni and interested private individuals as well.
We hope that through this involvement as a club officer and athlete they will have the opportunity to gain and enhance competence in gymnastics sports activity, while also developing valuable leadership and management skills.
