Kilusang Pagbabago - Eastern Samar 2.76

Kilusang Pagbabago (KP) is a movement for change, is another initiative. Although inspired by the Duterte’s call, and by the persevering efforts of Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco to consolidate and institutionalize active citizens participation in governance, the formation of Kilusang Pagbabago is being spearheaded by mostly ex-fulltime national democratic cadres and activists who also served as the core of Duterte Campaign Teams in various regions during the campaign period.

The Kilusang Pagbabago is the citizens extension of the Duterte government’s desire to effect real social change because it professes to be “for the helpless, hopeless, defenseless” and vows to make “ungod nga pagbabag-o” in politics, economics, military, culture and foreign relations.

As a partner of the Duterte government, the Kilusang Pagbabago shall serve as:

Watchdog
•Against crimes, drugs and corruption through monitoring, documentation, reporting and advocacy campaigns

Defender of the Republic
•Against crisis and calamities (natural and man-made), including threats of national destabilization
•Ensures effective delivery of Duterte programs and services to intended communities and sectors

Educator
•On Duterte’s platform for change, peace and federalism
•On Duterte’s leadership and governance styles
