Katipunan Avenue 4.4

Katipunan Avenue is a major avenue in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs in a north-south direction from the University of the Philippines Diliman, intersecting with Tandang Sora Avenue at its northernmost point, down to the Manila Philippines Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, intersecting with White Plains Avenue at its southernmost point.It is a national road of the Philippines, where it is part of Circumferential Road 5 between Tandang Sora and Bonny Serrano avenues. The section between Aurora Boulevard and Tandang Sora Avenue has been renamed by the Quezon City government as President Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, the name for C-5 as signed by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, although this section is still called Katipunan Avenue, as is the case for the rest of the road.Katipunan Avenue has three lanes each way in most sections, widening to four in select areas, and narrowing to two lanes within Barangays White Plains and Saint Ignatius.
