International Electronics and Technical Institute, Inc. (IETI), a private institution, had its humble beginning in June 1974 when it established its first school in Pasay City, offering short term courses in electricity abd electronics. The following years saw the institute expanding out in Makati, Cubao, Caloocan, Alabang, Marikina and in nearby towns of Cainta, Rizal.

The operation of the school expanded to include radio communication, refrigeration and airconditioning, automotive, diesel, typewriting and stenography. In 1981, further expansion of the institute included the offering of the Electronic Computer technician course, thereby earning the distinction of being the first provate technical school in the Philippines to develop the curriculum and offer such course.

The Department of Education Culture and Sports(DECS) in 1985 granted the request of the
institure to pulot-test the trimestral school calendar in the Philippines. The following year, the trimestral school calendar was institutionalized and again IETI earned the distinction of being the first and only technical-vocational school to operate on a trimestral school calendar system.

To cope with and meet the current and future needs of the labor market, IETI developed and started the offering in 1991 the 6-trimester program curricula in Computer Secretarial and Buisness Management(CSBM), Electronic Systems Technician(EST), COmputer Technician Systems Management(CTSM), Electromechanical and ELectronics Equipment Technician(MEET), and two years later, the Buisness Machines and Electronics Technician(BMET). These courses are generally characterized as very responsive to the manpower needs of the industry that after the on-the-job training of the students, many are already absorbed by the quality.

As part of the IETI's commitment, IETI Binan(Laguna) was established and operated in June 1993, offering the same 6-trimester courses. In June 1994, IETI Las Pinas was opened to serve the people of that part of Metro Manila.

IETI had its growing existence ever since. A new six-storey building was constructed at Alabang which houses IETI College, Inc. and started to operate in June 1995. Aside from the
6-trimester techical-vocational courses, it is also offering the 10-trimester B.S. in Technical Education(BSTE). At the same period, IETI Imus(Cavite) was also established offering the popular 6-trimester Office Management Course(OMC).

The twelfth school established in JUne 1996 is IETI College of Science and Technology, San Pedro(Laguna) in a new multi storey building offering the following: technical-vocational courses, and baccalaureate programs in BS in Buisness Information Technology(BSBIT), and BS
in Industrial Technology(BSIT) Major in Electronics, Industrial Electricity, Computer, Refrigeration and AIrconditioning and Automotive.

In June 1997, IETI Calamba and Novaliches started its operations. The new 6-trimester Information Technology Management(ITM) is also offered in all IETI schools. IETI is always a step ahead and is commited to continue serving the Filipino people.
