HT Accounting Services which started in 1994 is the brainchild of Mrs. Cornelia ''Nellie'' Teh which she named after her youngest daughter, Helen Teh. It provides accounting services to small and medium companies like bookkeeping, business registration, permit renewal and SSS/PHC/HDMF payments. Before HT Accounting was formed, Mrs. Teh first spent 39 years with BIR. She started as a collection agent in BIR Lapu-lapu and was later promoted to a collection officer in BIR Cebu. She took her retirement at age 60 and formed HT Accounting Services with her good friend, Mrs. Agnes Patindol.

It started with a small rented office near the Teh's residence in Lapu-lapu City, serving 20 clients which are mostly Mrs. Teh's network of friends and their referrals. It then grew to 6 employees in just two years and was formally registered with DTI in October of 1997 serving nearly 300 clients. They have to move to a bigger office in Yampoy building in Poblacion Lapu-lapu seven years after, employing 14 members.

Due to the increasing number of clients, she convinced her youngest daughter Helen, who already gained BS in Accountancy at that time and has spent seven years also in BIR as Revenue Officer, to join HT Accounting Services in 2006 and help her run the business.

In the middle of 2011, Mrs. Nellie Teh was unfortunately diagnosed with Lymph Nodes Cancer and succumb to the disease drastically, just one week after she was diagnosed with the stage 4 cancer. It was then that Helen Teh took over in managing the business and registered it under her name.

Presently, the company's head office is now at Rm206 Lilang’s Bldg., ML Quezon Ave., Pajo, Lapu-lapu City employing 12 full time and part time staffs catering 200 clients from Mandaue, Lapu-lapu and Cebu City. And more than 50% of which are old and loyal clients.

Through the dedication and honesty of management and staffs, HT Accounting Services was able to gain the trust of its satisfied clientele. And it envisions in conquering the rest of Cebu within 5 years.
