THE FEW THE PROUD.God bless the Rosarians. Holy Rosary Academy started as an all girls school in 1955. It was then housed at the Molo Parish Convent and was catering only to first year and second year classes.
In the following year 1956 the third year and fourth year classes were opened. The father’s residence was renovated and used as classrooms.
When it became coeducational in 1969, it was transferred to San Juan Street,Molo, Iloilo City, its present site. Considering the fact that this school To respond to the demand of efficiency and quality education, administrators were sent to further studies and as a result, great improvements were noted in the coming years.
Holy Rosary Academy seeks to develop the total person. It provides knowledge and develops skills and abilities to prepare the students for different tasks and activities needed for their academic as well as occupational needs. Likewise, students are given the opportunities for the development of becoming attitudes and values. The distinctive feature of the school lies in the fact that it caters to the average income family. This is the characteristic of the congregation schools in Western Visayas, most of which are in the rural areas.
Mindful of the need to keep abreast with the changing time, the academy has challenged itself to a steady progress in the realization of its goals.
No effort is wasted to improve the standard of the school, academically, spiritually, physically, socially and morally, always with a view in mind to identify its peculiar role and specify this role in its Vision and Mission and Objectives.
In recent years, specifically in the 90’s having been motivated with the honest and sincere desire to quality education, Holy Rosary Academy embarked upon a long term program leading towards PAASCU Accreditation.No posting of ads and commercials and about politics because it is exclusively for the school.
