Creamhub Milkshake and Smoothie Bar is a restaurant established on 12th of July 2015 in Manila. Creamhub is a fusion of Filipino, American, Italian, and Mexican food and beverages to cater the different taste preferences of Filipinos. The restaurant offers the first ever Pinoy Milkshakes in the Philippines.

Creamhub’s menu includes a variety of food featuring fresh ingredients straight from the market which made their core values “From market to kitchen, everyday fresh!” The menu includes flatbreads and other appetisers, pasta, chicken wings, grilled burger patty, steaks, and their chef’s family recipe incorporated to their MicMac Manila Inasal that gives its distinct flavour.

What makes Creamhub different is that, employees, together with the owners show love from preparing the ingredients, to cooking, and to serving. “Food is Love” indeed. Giving the high quality food with the cheapest price.

A year of preparation before the big day. “The concept might be simple but it took us a year to build everything.” - (owners).

It started when three young men decided to create a business of smoothies and ice cream for the students around U-belt. Marc Humphrey Edurese, Jeofrey Mateo, and Sam Lodor attend the same Christian Church in Manila when the idea came up. They asked professional help from a young chef, Mykel Cabrera to assist them in materialising the idea.

A few weeks after the first meeting, the eagerness of each made the mark that the project should materialise because everybody believed in its potential.

The owners were thinking of a different name for the restaurant. Sam Lodor, a software engineer by profession joked about the name “Creamhub”. “Why Creamhub?” asked by the other owners, Sam replied, “Well, we put whip cream on top of the milkshake, and we want to make our restaurant to be a place where friends could meet up and catch up with each other. Hub means connection in my profession. So it will be a place for reconnecting to your friends and family.” But none of them took it seriously since it was just a joke.

An invitation was sent to the group to join Umagang Kay Ganda’s cooking segment in Taytay, Rizal during the summer of 2015. The team led by Chef Mykel was asked to make a cheer for the group. Because of the pressure of live broadcast, without thinking of the name, Chef Mykel Shouted “GO CREAMHUB!” and that was the story behind the name Creamhub Milkshake and Smoothie Bar. It doesn't sound bad at all so they decided to adopt it.

The logo was also an accident. Marc Humphrey's (Marc is also a supplier of high end shirts in UAAP) artist was playing around with the shapes of clouds and it shaped like a whip cream. Then he put a straw with red stripes on the right side and used pink color as its background. They liked it and the same as the name, they adopted it.

As the group started guesting in different TV shows, their circle of friends got curious about Creamhub. The demand started to rise up. At that phase, Rachelle De Leon joined the team and help the four young men to speed up everything.

12th of July 2015 when Creamhub opened its doors to the market offering milkshakes, burgers, and chicken meals. Its presence on Facebook made it popular in less than a year. Celebrities like Diego Castro, Gene Padilla, Maris Racal, Mav Gonzales—to name a few —visited and tried the food. Food bloggers and chefs from different expertise also visited and tried the food.

Creamhub’s dedication to bring quality food on the table makes food an experience.
