Centralian Work Students 2.57

WSSP of Central Philippine University (CPU) provides opportunity for poor but deserving high school graduates to enroll in any tertiary academic program of CPU while working in the University. The program traces its heritage to the spirit of the Baptist Missionaries who founded the Jaro Industrial School in 1905. The Work Student Study Program as it is known today, was earlier named Student Personnel Services, then changed to Work Study Service Program.

The program accepts highly motivated high school graduates with good moral character and with parents who are not capable of supporting them in college. The applicants’ high school average grade should not be lower than 80% or its equivalent. If the applicant had already started college, the same grade requirement applies, but the latest semestral grades will be used to determine the average.
