Casa Isabelina, formerly known as Gonzalez Inn, was established in 2005 by Isabelina P. Gonzalez also known as “Beling”. Beling was born in the province of Bontoc but resided with her parents, here at Baguio. She travelled all around the world with her husband, Col. Pedro M. Gonzalez; Seeking adventure, thrill and excitement. During their travels they encountered unique inns, specialty cafe’s, beautiful ambiences, and along the way met interesting people whom they treasured and became their life-long friends. Travelling was in her blood and the delight of companionship along the way was important to her.

After their travels, they went back to Baguio and together they built a rest house for their family. They believed in three things: each other, their family and their friends. They would advice their children to always love and be thankful to each other. When her husband past away, she decided to expand the idea of a rest house not only for her family but also to travelers. Remembering her joyful experiences and memories with her husband, she wanted to create a place where travelers; Whether they be families, friends, or sweethearts, can experience the beauty of Baguio, relax with the cold weather and just enjoy the calm nature.

Beling wanted a lot of things to be done in her venture but time was her greatest enemy. Luckily, she has children and grandchildren (that are so very cute) to take care of her legacy. The last thing she wanted for her children is to establish bond and camaraderie not only to each other but to our guests!
