Calamba City Science High School 4.64

In consonance with the objectives of the Department of Education of providing quality and relevant education, the division of Calamba City envisioned the creation of a school that would prepared every Calambeño to meet the cultural, environmental, industrial and technological demands and challenges of a fast changing environment in Calamba City.

To this end, Calamba City Science High School was proposed to Department of Education and was approved by the Regional Director on August 16, 2010 as Calamba Bayside National High School – Annex.

During the first three years of the school it was housed at Real Elementary School.

After the acquisition of the school site with a total land area of of more or less five thousand seven hundred seventy five and 75/100 square meters ( 5,775.75 m2 ) and the construction of two- storey school building with complete facilities, the proposed renaming of the school from Calamba Bayside National High School - Annex to Calamba City Science High School through the Resolution # 225 s 2012 of Sangguniang Panglunsod and thru the effort of the Schools Division Superintendent of Calamba City Dr. Eugenia R. Gorgon was approved by the Department of Education on February 14, 2012. It was formally inaugurated last March 1, 2013.

Calamba City Science High School offers quality Science, Mathematics and English education programs to intellectually gifted students through an enriched curriculum that emphasizes Science, Mathematics and English. This is to prepare its students for careers related in Science and Mathematics and their technological applications. This school also intends to nurture the excitement and curiosity of the learners.
