COURSE DESCRIPTION

The SECURITY SERVICES NC I is a basic Security Guard (Pre-Licensing Training) Course. This course is one of the prerequisites before a security guard can obtain license to exercise security profession. This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a licensed security guard in the field of security servicing in accordance with existing laws (RA 5487 as amended, Implementing Rules and Regulations, Presidential Decrees, and SAGSD, CSG, PNP Memoranda). It also covers performing control system in the workplace, basic communication skills, responding to emergency situation, demonstrating marksmanship and performing defensive techniques.

The SECURITY SERVICES NC II is a basic Security Guard (Re-fresher) Course. This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a licensed security guard in the field of security servicing in accordance with existing laws (RA 5487 as amended, Implementing Rules and Regulations, Presidential Decrees, and SAGSD, CSG, PNP Memoranda). It also covers monitoring activities within area of responsibility; enforcing access control and identification system; securing territorial jurisdiction of the company; enforcing emergency response procedures; and preparing security reports.

The BASIC SECURITY SUPERVISORY COURSE is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes potential leaders and supervisors in the security industry. The Law mandates that before a Security Guard or Private Detective could be appointed or designated to a supervisory position. He/she should first satisfactorily finish this course, as mandated by Section 5(b) of the Revised Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 5487 (An act governing the Organization and Management of Private Security Agencies, Company Guard Forces and Government Guard Forces). The course will focus on the different concepts, principles, practices and techniques of management, supervision and leadership. It is conceive to guide the students understand their basic and functions as an effective and efficient Leader. This course is offered to security officers/supervisors and promising security guards to further develop their skills and leadership.
