BOGO City Health Office 3.08

This office is the envisioned arm of the city that provides effective health assistance and conscientious health programs. Together with her capable staff, they act as guardians and moving forces in the distribution of health services to all constituents.
Prevention is better than cure, they say. And the city health office takes this seriously, arming the people with every useful education they could use to ready themselves against illnesses that are prevalent at these times like dengue and AIDS.

MANDATE
Execute a comprehensive plan of programs and activities that will develop potential athletes, promote and safeguard the well-being of the youth sector and instill nationalism through sports.
FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
1. Supervise the personnel and staff of the said office, formulate program implementation guidelines and rules and regulations for the operation of said office for the approval of the Mayor, in order to assist him in the efficient, effective and economical implementation of a health related projects and activities.
2. Formulate measures for the consideration of the Sanggunian and provide technical assistance and support to the Mayor in carrying out activities to ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate facilities relative to health services provided under Section 17 of the Local Government Code.
