INTRODUCTION

The College Student Council is the highest student government in the college which is comprised of officers that are elected by the students during a student election. It is autonomous in undertaking program of actions to the development of Bicol University College of Engineering through student action.

VISION

A student government promoting the highest standards of character, scholarship, leadership and service; imbued with effective cooperation, camaraderie, and dedicated governance and ensuring a well-rounded and responsible citizenship of the students.


MISSION

The College Student Council continues to pursue its mission of primarily serving as an active forum for students’ ideas and sentiments and developing programs in order to protect and strengthen students’ democratic rights and welfare.

GOALS

The College Student Council shall pursue the following objectives or goals:

a) to serve as an active forum for students’ ideas and sentiments,
b) to uphold the ideals of the college geared towards ensuring a well-rounded, intellectual, spiritual, and physical development of the students,
c) to develop a sense of service and responsibility among the students for the welfare of the society,
d) to pursue a dynamic program of student involvement in campus activities so as to enhance the skills and talents in serving the goals of the college,
e) to strengthen the ties among the student body, faculty, administration, and other sectors of the academic community through peaceful and intellectual means,
f) to strengthen and protect the students’ democratic rights and welfare,
g) to promote social and national consciousness among students,
h) to focus on the interests of the students, therefore gaining its participation relative to the majority will.
