A former Math teacher of the University of San Jose Recoletos, Anita Cabinian got her love of baking from her aunt out of hobby and began baking in her home kitchen for friends and family. She was famous for her Brazo de la Reina, which rapidly gained attention and orders.

The conception of ìAnita's Home bakeshop, Inc.î came to be in 1968. Starting with a small oven and a handful of raw materials, baking all the products in the house kitchen.

By mid 80's Anita's has opened more branches in Cebu, being considered as the province's premium bakery and has further modernized its production process.
