Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is a well-established treatment for a wide range of traumatic, acute and chronic disease and conditions. It involves the breathing of 100% pure oxygen in a pressurized room or chamber.

"Hyper" is simply an increase, while "baric" refers to pressure. As a procedure or therapy, Hyperbarics is simply the process of increasing the atmospheric pressure around the body.

Inside the Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy chamber, air pressure is increased to three times higher than normal air pressure. This enables the patient’s lungs to gather more oxygen and also stimulate growth of new blood vessels which in turn, promotes healing in problematic wounds and recovery for those suffering from life-threatening decompression illness.

HBOT also assist the body's organs in functioning more efficiently altogether and enhance the body's white blood cells ability to fight infection and other health disorders.
